Scott and I met as freshman in college where we spent 4 years as close friends. The summer after graduation, Scott asked me out. Nervous to give up our friendship, I denied my feelings for him. That summer I was living in my favorite city: London. Why did I find myself in my favorite place, still feeling like something- or someone -was missing? With money earned from Dunkin Donuts, Scott flew 3000 miles out to see me in London. We traveled across Europe that summer!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together is from our travels in Ireland the first summer we got together. We rented a car and drove across the country singing, laughing and getting to know each other in a new way. I realized I loved Scott at the cliffs of Moher, but waited to tell him until we arrived back to our hometown. While confessing my love at the cliffs would have been magnificent, I wanted him to know I loved him even standing on the cracked pavement of Hartford, CT.
What would you do with $20,000?Scott and I would love to use this money to save up for a downpayment for our first home! We have dreams of working on a fixer upper and building an outdoor shower. In honor of our first summer together, we might find ourselves on a little backpacking trip with a portion of that money as well!
