How did your love story begin?

We worked at IP, and when he came near my area—I made sure to play a little hard to get. But he did his homework and found out from a coworker who knew me as a kid that I loved to fish. So one day, he asked, “Wanna go fishing?” That was his smooth move. I said yes, after making him sweat a bit. We dated awhile, and before long, we moved in together. We didn’t just catch a fish that day, we caught the love bug. 🎣❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

My favorite memory is one I get to live every day. After we fell in love, he bought 140 acres with a creek running through it—just so we could fish anytime we wanted. No fancy dates, no big speeches… just a man with a heart big enough to buy me peace, quiet, and a fishing spot for life. These days, we wake up to birds, cast a line before coffee, and count our blessings right along with the fish. 🎣💛

What would you do with $20,000?

What would we do with $25,000? We’d build a cozy cabin and maybe set up a few tent sites by the creek —so others could enjoy the peace and beauty we’re blessed with. Or even a trail along the creek bank, add a firepit, and possibly a little bait shack, just a place where folks can unplug, fish, laugh, and make memories like we do. Nothing fancy, just good land, good people, and God’s handiwork all around. 🎣🌿
