We would like to thank you for supporting Mike & Stephanie in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We were both involved in a Pipe and Drum band that honored fallen firefighters and police officers. Mike is in the fire field and Stephanie was law enforcement. We were able to connect as first responders. We were friends first. Once our marriages fell apart we leaned on each other for support. When you are a first responder it is hard to find someone who understands you. Every day we show up for each other and prove that the second time around is better!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When Mike turned 50, I surprised him with a trip to Ireland. He had wanted to go to Ireland for a long time. Now he is returning the love by taking me to the Bahamas for my 50th birthday!
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly Mike's mom has moved in with us. We are caring for her. I would use the money to help us renovate the house so it is more handicap friendly. She needs a walk in shower and other amenities to make her feel more comfortable.
