Met in '87, reconnected in Dec '02, married in Mar '03. Been through 6 hand surgeries (him), ruptured disc & cancer (me). He's my rock.

We met when I was a junior in high school. His sister was the new girl in my homeroom and she wore a Monkees tshirt her first day. My bestie & I were fans so she became part of our group. I met her brother later that year. The chemistry was palpable, but he tried not to date her friends. We did go out a few times, including on my 21st birthday but we lost touch, then he showed up on my doorstep one December day - I wasn't home! We dated for 3 weeks, got engaged on Jan 2 & married on March 14.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our "last first date" was to the zoo to see the holiday lights, right before Christmas. We went with his sister & her 2 boys. There's a big hill near the giraffe barn & my knee hurt. He noticed me limping, grabbed my hand to steady me, but didn't let go when we got to the top. It was cold out, but I was warm & tingly. He says that's where he let go of his fear of a relationship. He stayed over a few days later on Christmas Eve and basically never left.
What would you do with $20,000?We took a trip to Colorado years ago and only got as far West as Pike's Peak. We'd love to go back and see the other side of the state as well as travel to other Western States. We need to see the big trees, the ocean, Mt Rushmore, Las Vegas, the desert...
