We started as friends, went through many struggles, and we remain best friends because GOD is in the center of our marriage. We are Blessed.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Mike had just lost the love of his life, and I was newly divorced. We first became friends. We dated on and off for nine years. I thought that it would never happen, but God had other plans, and in August 1992, we were married. We got married the day before Hurricane Andrew. We are best friends, and our love story begins anew every day.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Mike and I went to Cancun and had a beautiful picture taken. It was a nice picture, but Mike was obsessed. He had it in his office, he made it into a BIG portrait size picture for our home (I tried hiding it for years, but somehow he would always find it. He loved that picture.) He put it on our Business cards, the way it was cropped, it looked like I was naked because my skin and the dress were the same color. People would ask, "Do you have clothes on? You look naked". YES! I have clothes on.
What would you do with $20,000?I would take my handsome, loving husband on a wonderful European cruise. At 87, he still works, and he's the best realtor I know. This would be a precious opportunity to make unforgettable memories on the trip of a lifetime.
