Naye: 5 days away from my 30th birthday. I thought I would be married by now. Not that I wasn’t happy! I have been blessed. I‘m a teacher living on my own, learning to cook, and taking trips. But I hoped to share those experiences with a person I can call my forever. Is he in my city? I decided to go back on a dating app, just one more time! I came across his page. Aw, he’s an uncle, he loves chocolate chip cookies, and those eyes! Okay, I’ll swipe. The rest, we’ll need more than 500 characters!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Mike: I took my gf ,now fiancée, on a trip. 1st night we decided to go into a hot tub. Before going to bed, my gf and I were laughing at a show. Then she’s didn’t feel well. Long story short. We went to the ER. We learned being dehydrated and hot tubs is a no-go! I looked at her and said, “we are one”. This is love. Love is being there even when you don’t know how. Love conquers and heals.
What would you do with $20,000?My fiancée & I have been working to save for our wedding. A day to invite both of our families as a symbol that we will become one big family! Planning a wedding has its challenges. We want to have this special day we can call ours, but we are also on a hunt to find our forever home. This $20,000 would help us plan for our wedding, the day we say “I do” to us for forever!
