Been married 33 years. We have 5 kids, adopted 5 more through foster care and helped 2 age out of the system. We are a great team.

Linda asked Mike to dance while on a night out at a local bar called, “The Townhouse” in 1991. While dancing and talking we realized we had a lot in common. We dated for awhile and then Mike asked Linda to marry him on stage at The Townhouse on her 30th birthday. We were married in 1993 and became a blended family with five children.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our honeymoon is a great memory for us. We went on a 2 day float trip (23 miles) on the Niangua River. We cooked our meals on the campfire and spent the night under the stars. We had to drag our canoe over gravel bars, endured a thunderstorm, lifted the canoe over large trees that fell over the river and Linda fell in the water trying to pull the canoe over a tree. Later we laughed and said that if we could make it through all of that without a fight we could handle anything together.
What would you do with $20,000?We have raised 12 children and we are now raising our 2 toddler grandsons. We need a vacation! We would use the money to go on an adventure traveling the Untied States. We want to see the Grand Canyon, the Smokey Mountains, Niagara Falls, Montana and more.
