I was livng a Godlesslife in my hometow, Humble, Te as when I heard a voice, just as clear as day. Go to California. And I did. I found out I had an aunt living there so I hopped on a Greyhound heading West. I got a job on my birthday in the winter of 2000, at the famous, PeeWee Herman restaurant outside of Palm Springs. A couple months later a tall, red headed, full beard, bulk of a man walked through the door, not my type at all. That voice sounded again, that's him, I sent him to you.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We had a running joke. When we were falling in love I'd ask him if he wanted to go out, and he'd always joke,"for five dollars". I gave him a five dollar bill to put in his wallet, he kept it always. You had to be there.
What would you do with $20,000?My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer and we had to sell our dream home to buy an old mobile home. It was important to him that I didn't have a mortgage when he passed away. It's old, and need some repairs. I've got a list, I'd start with that. I want him to be comfortable, he will be there during his Hospice time until the end and he leaves me.
