We met in 2005 at a Halloween after party. I was a ladybug & he was a radio DJ. We didn't speak at all, he just played w/ the dog & he kept "accidently" throwing the dogs toys near me. The next day, my friend told me that Mike thought I was cute & was coming up to our work (Texas Roadhouse) to get my number. We exchanged numbers that day, talked on the phone the next day, and we've been in love ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together has to be the day Mike came home from his 3 week hospital stay. He had a stem cell transplant for his Leukemia. He was waiting on the porch for our 2 oldest kids (9 & 8) for when they got off the bus. When they saw him, they screamed so loud & ran so fast to get to him. Their super hero was finally home! We have alot of beautiful moments, but that one takes the cake.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay bills, pay doctors bills and take a family trip! Mike has a rare aggressive form of Leukemia, and we have 4 beautiful children. Our youngest (3 years old) is non verbal autistic, and our kids have been through alot. We'd love to be able to give them a fun vacation.!
