We met in high school band—he played trumpet, I played flute—but never spoke due to the age gap. Years later, in 2015, we reconnected on Facebook. He loved my meme posts (especially about pizza) and started asking me out. I kept saying no because I was focused on work and supporting my family. He was persistent yet respectful. On the 4th try, I finally said yes to a taco date—and by New Year’s Eve, we were officially together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One of my favorite memories as a couple was seeing our son on the sonogram for the first time. It was so surreal—something made from our love turning into something so beautiful. We looked at each other and it felt like time paused, flashing back to when we first got together.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d first pay off some debts to lift that weight off our shoulders. The rest would go toward our son’s future. He was diagnosed with Noonan syndrome, which can cause developmental delays and heart issues. We want to be ready for any special care or resources he may need, especially as he gets closer to starting school. His well-being and education are our top priorities.
