We met at a rodeo. I thought he was obnoxious and started dating his friend. After the friend and I broke up Shorty and I stayed friends. He told me that he loved me and wanted more than friendship. I wasn’t so sure. I went on a college club trip and told him that I would give him my answer when I returned. I decided that I just wanted to remain friends so I went to tell him. We went to his barn but before I could tell him, he kissed me and I swear I saw stars. I was 18 and he was 20.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We spent so many years traveling with our daughters for rodeoing and barrel racing. It was hard and expensive but we enjoyed the times with them. Once at the high school rodeo finals, a group of us parents went to the local strip club. It was a dream of mine to dance on the pole but laws kept me from being allowed so some of the dads paid for my very own lap dance. It was quite the memory.
What would you do with $20,000?We have a house and 95 acres so I’d use the money for a barn for my husband to have a better work space to shoe horses.
