We support each other’s dreams, have two bright, kind and beautiful children, and we take the time to appreciate all that we have.
We would like to thank you for supporting Michelle and Rob in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Rob and I attended high school together one year apart, and didn’t know each other very well, but just after we had both turned 31 he reached out and asked me on a date. Within 15 months we were married! It seemed fast for us both, but as we used to like to say, when you know you know! We had so many important things in common, but the most important was a commitment to mentoring and building up young people for a kinder future. Rob as a 2nd grade teacher, me as a dance studio owner.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Choosing a favorite memory is so difficult as we have had so many winning moments together! From the birth’s of our two bright and beautiful children, to the expansion of my Dance and Theatre business, to the moment we made our dreams a reality and purchased our beach condo, to my husband‘s recent retirement and career change to be becoming a realtor. Supporting each other and encouraging our respective ambitions has provided us both the opportunities to succeed beyond our expectations.
What would you do with $20,000?If we were to win, we would use part of the money for a family vacation celebration, part of it would go into our business, and part would be donated to the American foundation for suicide prevention, which is our honor Society platform at our dance studio.
