It began a short 2 years ago. We just celebrated our 2nd Anniversary of our first date together (the first night we met). We got to know each other playing Jenga at a pub. It was completely random and love at first sight.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We visited Dave’s hometown in Maine for two weeks last summer. He hadn’t been back home in 10 years. I got to meet his family and friends. I loved all the stories Dave told me as we visited places from his childhood and young adulthood.
What would you do with $20,000?I would save most of it for when I retire so we would have an emergency fund as Dave is on disability and has very limited income. I would use some of it so we could visit Dave’s family in Maine again. We live in Arizona and can’t afford to go back anytime soon. I have some money saved so if or when Dave’s elderly mother passes away he can go back. But it would be nice if we both could go back one more time before that happens.
