Both divorced. Felt defeated. Never even met- went to the same church, then God stepped in. Now- Smiles. Love. Laughter. Cherish. Care.
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
I noticed him in March at church, worshipping and thought, "he's gotta be married." Then found out, later, that he was in the middle of a divorce. Our daughters were friends-we had no idea. 1 Sun n Apr, he talked to me-8 words and I melted. I could barely talk back. I didn't know how to reply, not knowing if he was single or not- at that time. After service, my daughter called and told me the story, (after his daughter called her) I replied, "no way Kelly, he is one fine man!" 4/21/24
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? He surprised me with a short trip to Texas in September 2024. We drove. Lots of firsts! He didn't tell me anything. He took me to my first hockey game-Stars!! He surprised me with tickets to Medieval Times. And it was both our first time at the TX state fair where we shared a corn dog, corn on the cob and lots of laughs! We also went to Six Flags! It was hot and packed, but we wouldn't trade it for anything!! It was beautifully perfect!! Lots of laughter, and smiles and memories and hugs!!
What would you do with $20,000?We would LOVE to book a trip to Vancouver BC, for me to meet his 75-year old parents. They aren't able to travel because of their health. We'd want to spoil them while we are there. We'd also give 10% to charity, and put some in a savings for our future surgeries or to have some extra to help our adult kids out when they have unexpected expenses for their families that arise. We'd want to use it to be a blessing to others.
