Connect How did your love story begin?

Thanks to friends from Club Getaway (weekend of 'adult' camp) we met in 2015. We were both invited to a share house/ski weekend in Vermont. I was reeling from a breakup, focused on quality downtime with friends. I was barely aware of Michael being there (a house crammed with 35 people). Michael asked Rick for my number. A few weeks later he called. Sometime after, Josh gave a warning 'Don't mess with our Nikki'. Despite returning Mike's call, I didn't hear back. We saw each other briefly 6/2020

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

June 2020 at a lakeside gathering for my birthday- a Miracle for me -as I was recovering from 2 week coma, intubated, heart failure due to covid virus. January 2021, 9 years after we first met Michael and I were again at share house ski weekend in Vermont. More reserved, less type A, I truly noticed Michael. Everyone moved about, skiing and partying. I sat legs elevated and masked. He doted on me. My friend Monica said 'You'd better mean itpursue her hard, she'll buck you away like a wild mare'

What would you do with $20,000?

Most would be saved to purchase our first home together. $3k for a cocktail party celebration-happiness, true contentment of our commitment to one another. Bring together the people responsible for us. Michael and i are the epitome of opposites attract. I am 5' of gregarious dynamite. He is tall, dark, reserved (until he gets comfortable with you). Without his quiet strength I wouldn't have made it through years of cardiac, lung and physical therapy. He is my north star
