How did your love story begin?

Michael & I met on Christian mingle! I was about ready to call it quits when Michael asked me to meet with him first. Michael’s thoughts were, who’s going to want a man who’s been divorced, widowed With a special needs son? Until he met me, Who had been divorced, widowed with a special-needs son! When we met, there was chemistry! He asked me for three more dates! Before parting, he picked me up and twirled me around and told me he wanted to sweep me off my feet! He did!!!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

How do you choose one??? One of our favorite memories was getting married on a cruise! (Valentines Day 2016) Traveling the Caribbean in total relaxation, for a couple who’s been through so much, it was amazing! One of our favorite stops was an orphanage in Cozumel that only took siblings, so they could stay together!!! We’ve been back a few times and have taken them things they were in need of! Serving others and working for the kingdom of God is our passion! Tip??? Never let the honeymoon end!

What would you do with $20,000?

The small inner city church we belong to has just celebrated our 15th year anniversary! We are very close to getting our own building! We are a church that serves the community in many ways and has no debt. We are a Christ centered, family focused, Kingdom driven Church. If we won the $20,000, most of the money would go towards our building fund! (Some has to go for taxes.) Then we can pay for our own building instead of someone else’s! A legacy that would continue on for many generations!
