How did your love story begin?

We met as college interns for the same MLB team, I was there for fashion school and my husband was there for general business! My favorite part of that story is I denied a promotion for the next season, and they offered it to my husband after, which turned into a 9 year career for him! We even had our wedding reception in the club lounge, back where it all began!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It’s was the very first Friday night after we moved in together and we’re all settled in, and as we sat in bed exhausted from the move, Michael looked to me and said, “So do you want to go to an animal shelter tomorrow and pick out some cats?” Don’t get me wrong, I knew I was going to marry this man very early on, but that moment really solidified that I picked the right one. Anyway, we headed to the local APL the next morning and got two senior cats for $10! Chicken and Waffles are now 12 & 8.

What would you do with $20,000?

We love to travel and are so very fortunate to have been to as many places as we have together so far. We’ve gone to Italy, France, Germany, The Maldives, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, The Dominican, Jamaica, all over the Caribbean Islands, and more, and our dream is to one day own a travel agency and live in Florence, Italy. The prize money would help us invest into our future by getting travel licenses/certifications, paying off debts, and saving towards future down payments.
