Michael and I have loved each other since day one. We love sharing our story as an interabled couple. We are truly best friends.

Michael and I met over two years ago online through my poetry. I knew he was my other half from the very first message. Since then, we haven't gone a day without speaking. Our relationship began long-distance. There were many hours-long Zoom calls, video game nights, and falling asleep with each other on the phone. After six months, I moved from Oregon to Minnesota to be with him, and a year and a half after being together, he proposed. We always say, "When you know, you know."
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have too many to count, really, but if I had to pick our favorite it would be the first time we met in person. It was in the backseat of an incredibly hot car, August 2023. We were both so nervous and so excited; we couldn't take our eyes off each other. He touched my hand and it was like I was finally home. Either that, or any of our trips to Oregon or our yearly State Fair tradition. We love getting out and having fun.
What would you do with $20,000?Michael has spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and I have many medical issues as well. We'd probably begin by paying off some medical debt and then use the rest to make our dreams of a real, long vacation come true. Michael loves Disney World and amusement parks; we'd love to put some money towards that.
