I was 18, he was 20. I worked with his brother at a coffee shop. He saw me and was immediately attracted. I was just getting out of a relationship and in a weird head space. He tried to chat twice, I ignored him. Then I had a party. His brother brought him. This time, I pursued him while he ignored me. But by the end of the night we were chatting and making out and he ended up sleeping over (no THAT didn’t happen lol). I waited two days for him to call and he finally did. That was the beginning!

The obvious answer would be becoming parents. That in itself is an amazingly chaotic gift. But he is blessed to have a job that he travels a lot for, and I’m lucky to get to go with him a LOT. We’ve travelled to places we’d never been, and probably could never afford to go to again. Bermuda would probably be our favorite destination so far. We both love live sports, and we’ve also got to go to many live sporting events (football being our favorite). He’s my favorite traveling partner.

We have two sons in college, and we have some debt to pay off as well. Boring answer, we know, but sometimes adulting isn’t all fun and games. I’m sure we’d also splurge on a nice dinner or maybe staycation in St. Louis.
