We’re a couple marine biologists fresh out of college and ready to make a mark. We love getting out on the water and want to share our story
We would like to thank you for supporting Michael and Jenna in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in our first year of college on the beach of all places. Once we discovered how much we had in common, we had to give it a shot. We have since earned our degrees in marine biology together and we specifically have a passion for shark research. We someday hope to start our own laboratory dedicated to shark research and conservation.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory has to be when we worked together to tag sharks for an internship in college. Getting the opportunity to both do what we love and do it together inspired us even more to pursue our passions. When we realized how natural it was for us to work together, we knew we were fit for each other.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to help us make our dreams of starting our own marine laboratory a reality. Funding is really hard to come by and everything costs money so a sum like this would really help us move forward.
