We were both in the Navy, working at the same command in New Orleans. I would see her walking and offer her a ride. She would post on Facebook about how she's lonely and bored, so I would invite her to cook outs and parties. One night I messaged her my number, and she got offended. One day she heard me talking about going to the movies and asked if she could come, but made it clear that it wasn't a date. After a couple friend dates and one real date, she grew on me and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The birth of our 1st child. The whole journey was beautiful. We took all the classes. And when she went into labor, we were both excited and afraid and hungry. I still remember the look the nurse gave me as I sat in the corner and ate a honeybun. My wife told me I could eat something from the vending machine. No reason for both of us to starve. 😅
What would you do with $20,000?Go on a family vacation and replenish our savings. I lost my Job last year. We both are in school and starting new careers. We have three kids and life has been manageable but tight.
