Like many modern couples it began with a match on a dating profile. But, our love story truly began though the moment we let our dogs meet for the first time. We already liked each other and had gone on a few dates. Our dogs are very important and I was nervous that the pups wouldn't get along. We decided to meet at a park and immediately the dogs came together wagging tails and embracing each other. It was truly the beginning of our family coming as one.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?About 2 months into our relationship, the annual Balloon Fiesta coincided with an annular eclipse. The plan was to watch it from the fiesta park-but this was also everyone else's idea. The lines were long and not moving much, we sat (parked) for hours.These hours though felt like nothing we talked, laughed and built inside jokes. In the end we weren't able to get inside the park but watched the eclipse at a park nearby while Loch sang Ring of Fire. We knew then this was our happily ever after.
What would you do with $20,000?There are so many things we could list. This year we are getting married and buying a house which is digging heavily into our savings as we're doing everything on our own. We'd love to start family soon and a 20,000 nest egg would be a welcomed relief.
