How did your love story begin?

We first met at the company we both started working for in 2010 in Atlanta, GA. It sounds cliché, but it was love at first sight for me when Steve walked in the room. However, at the time, he was married. Having to work together often, we became good friends and frequently chatted most days away on Skype about our shared interests. I moved to Arizona in 2018 and we lost touch for a bit. After Steve’s divorce, we reconnected, started dating, and haven’t been apart since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Getting engaged at the Grand Canyon, which also happened to be Steve’s first visit there, is one of our favorite memories, for sure. Also, we love all the memories we made on The Rock Boat this year, which is a music festival cruise where I met some of closest friends and the most amazing community, and introducing him to such a special part of my world (and him loving it, too, because it can be intense) was just amazing and priceless.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would help pay for our wedding, specifically our friends’ and family’s transportation to our wedding, as we are asking them to travel to a remote location in California (Lone Pine, my hometown) on rather short notice, and possibly splurge on a mini-honeymoon to the Oasis Resort in Death Valley, CA. We don’t have a large budget and decided if we have to spend at minimum $10k, then we will invest that money in my hometown, (which has a population of approximately 1,500).
