Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story begin our freshman year of college at the University of Illinois. You could say that we were best friends from the very beginning, but both of us knew that it was more than friends right off the bat. However, we both kind of lived in secrecy about how much we were into one another. The next two years we were best friends always hanging out and then flash forward to our junior year, We are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. The rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memories together are the trips that we go on. We are a nurse and a teacher, so we try to utilize our time to explore the world through our exploring the world. We learn more about each other and ourselves as well. The memory that sticks out to us the most is out very first trip together to all of the utah national parks, specifically our first stop- Zion. We were fortunate enough to win the lottery to do angels landing. I was so scared and seamus made it all worthwhile.

What would you do with $20,000?

Since we are both a teacher and a nurse, we would use this $20,000 towards our wedding and potentially our honeymoon. Most important people in our lives are our family and then our friends and we would love to celebrate our love with them all we are constantly giving to our students and our patients so it would be nice to give back to our family and friends and celebrate for the night.
