We meet at work; he was a tech and I worked with entertainment. During my breaks I would visit him in the tech booth for some A/C and talk about life or our common interests like pop culture. I was also previously engaged but quickly realized my friends cared more about me than my fiancé. I broke off the engagement three months later, then my grandparents moved away so, he wanted to be there for me. Seven months later I finally told Pedro I thought he was “cool” and we started dating Mar.2020.

Our date night to see a musical Pedro introduced me to while we were dating. We were just married, my Pop passed away 2 weeks before and on our way to the show our tire blew. So we sat on the side of the road for hours at night in the middle of no where. We missed the show but the company was so great; they gave us tickets for the next day, gave us free drinks and we won a raffle. It made me realize that life finds a way, no dull moments and no matter what I was happy to have Pedro by my side.

Put it towards our “nest” and help with our family. My closest family member, my Pop passed away 7 months after we got married. He was everything to me and loved Pedro. We got a house and were going to have him and my Gram move in to help them out. He died and left her alone so we are having her move into a disability friendly home behind our house. So any money we get would be to help her and for our future family we are working on trying now.
