Connect How did your love story begin?

Zane and I met in high school theatre. Our junior year, the spring production was Cinderella, and we were assigned to be dance partners. Ever since then, we’ve been dancing through all of life’s ups and downs together, knowing we have the perfect duet within each other!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Zane served in the Navy for 5 years, 2019-2024. That meant a lot of our first years together were long-distance. For my 21st birthday, he surprised me at my door and stayed for the weekend! Little did I know, he was going to propose while he was in town. There were so many moments I thought it was going to happen, but Zane, being his crafty little self, caught me totally off guard and popped the question while walking out the door to take him to the airport. Of course, I said “yes“!

What would you do with $20,000?

$20,000 would mean so much to us! We are both students who are starting our life together- funding our college careers, finding a place to call home, starting a family, and pampering our two kitties, Snicky and June Bug. We eventually want to start a coffee and bookshop together to promote literacy development in children (one of my passions) and donate to humanitarian efforts in our hometown. With $20,000, we could comfortably achieve all of those dreams and help others do the same!
