How did your love story begin?

We met on Hinge & planned our 1st date for a work night because we thought it would be a quick drink or two. We ended up spending 6 hrs getting to know each other & making the other one laugh. During our date, we realized we had lived a few blocks away from each other on multiple occasions, frequented the same places, & even as children our families went to the same beach at the same time of year. We were meant to be together and in July of 2021 it finally happened.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

A disaster date. Starting at a restaurant we had been eyeing. Their system made an error & didn’t actually have a table for us, but they let us sit at the bar & gave us a bottle of wine for the trouble. Then we went to a comedy show; however, w/ all the wine, we didn’t realize we were in the wrong place until our tix didn’t work going into the theater. Nothing went to plan that night, but we couldn’t stop laughing. We ended up with take out & Netflix, but it was more fun than the night I planned

What would you do with $20,000?

Jeff & I had to move out of NYC, where we’ve both lived for the past 12 years, due to rent prices. Fortunately we’ve been able to stay in his family’s home and save up for our first house. During that time, we’ve gotten engaged and have found our dream house to start a family in. We had to choose between a home or a wedding & $20,000 would not only offer us a sense of relief for home expenses, it would allow us to have a wedding with our families & closest friends.
