Our love story started back in 2013, fresh out of high school. We met for the first time at a few grad parties that summer, then we lost contact. We met again months later in the hospital while a friend passed away, and Nate has been my rock ever since. The way he comforted me like he had known me for years will stand out in my mind forever. I knew then just as much as I do now that we are meant for each other.

My favorite memory we’ve shared as a couple was our first trip to Europe in 2023. We had talked about it for years, and finally getting to see us accomplish our biggest goal of our 20’s before we turned 30 was incredible. We were so stoked about buying tickets and planning the trip, and when it came time to actually go it was the most amazing 2-weeks we’d ever had. I would do it again in a heartbeat, we just love doing life together.

$20,000 would be a huge step toward our next big goal of buying our first house. We have saved, pinched pennies, and worked it out for over 5 years in our tiny outdated apartment in the city. We have 2 cats now, and we are just bursting at the seams in our little 2-bedroom. A house would be a huge improvement to our day to day lives, helping us feel more grounded and giving us the foundation to do more work in starting our family.
