How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in highschool. Our teacher made troy sit by me so I could be his tutor. We went out 1 time then went our separate ways. He joined the army and I went through the steps we call life. 25 years later he found me. Asked me out over and over. I kept saying No until the 7th time I finally said yes. That was 2013. We got married in 2014 and our love still grows stronger every day.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Every day we create new memories and love every one of them but, our favorite would have to be the proposal. I had no idea he was going to propose. It was xmas morning 2013 and I was worried about our grandson having the best xmas ever (he is challenged medically). What would you do with $20,000?

We would use it as a down payment for a house. We have rented all this time as we both been working on our credit. Both had a 1st marriage that ended up as a divorce and hurt our credit so building a good credit has taken patience and time. We deserve a home of our own.
