It all began one karaoke night. Unknowingly it would be the start of a beautiful journey when on this November night in 2022, destiny brought us together. That night was a tough night for MyKey, whose mom had passed away the night before. We were checking each other out when Jesse sang first and then MyKey went up but couldn’t finish his song and jumped off stage crying. After that we started seeing each other around town and our bond grew strong. Jesse also is a stroke survivor.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory was feeding the homeless. We would go to the bar where he works every Wednesday afternoon and set up the grill and cook hamburgers and hot dogs, a task his boss asked him to manage. Every week we would always be there together helping others and looking out for the community. Something we are both passionate about and brought us even closer. We love that memory because we both like to help others.
What would you do with $20,000?We would pay off debt and travel to our dream honeymoon destination MyKonos, as well as donate to our favorite local charities here in Houston, TX.
