We met on Hinge while we were both living in Washington DC. Maya was about to finish law school and move to California for a job and Claire was working in the government looking at grad school programs in Europe. Of course neither of us were looking for anything serious at first, but we quickly fell in love and made the life changing decision to move to the Bay Area and build a life together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Last summer, we went on an incredible two week camping/ road trip through the Pacific Northwest, just us and our little dog Pippa. We stayed at a new unique campsite every night and went to six national parks! On the trip we experienced many highs and lows, we even had our car get broken into and had our passports stolen derailing our plans of going into Canada! Going through that craziness made our relationship stronger and we both knew that we were ready to get married after that trip.
What would you do with $20,000?We are both in student debt from law school and grad school, $20,000 would help us pay down some of our debt and help us to afford to buy a car or even take a proper honeymoon!
