We started out as best friends, which gave us a great foundation of mutual respect. We do it all together: travel, art, design, and more!

When we met in grad school, Max shook my hand and said “Jen, we’re gonna be best friends.” Now we are partners in art, design, and love. We were both seeing other people while we were friends, so we never really thought of the other as a potential partner, but often hung out more with each other than those we were seeing. When I moved to LA for a year, I often felt homesick, and we kept in touch nearly the whole time. Slowly it developed into something more.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We travelled to India together for one of my best friends wedding, and he actually got to be part of the bachelorette party. He instantly makes friends so it wasn’t weird at all, and everyone loved having him around.
What would you do with $20,000?All of our savings went towards a home for ourselves, so we put off getting rings or planning a wedding. We would be so ecstatic to finally get to plan a wedding for ourselves, and share it with our closest friends and family.
