Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began online through the Badoo app! I was in Virginia and Matthew was in Tennessee. The app showed people nearby, but one day he kept scrolling and found my profile all the way from VA! He was looking for a Christian woman, and my bio—and a shirt I wore with a Christian message—caught his eye. He messaged me, but I friendzoned him at first! Over time, I started liking him, and we began dating. He eventually visited me in VA—and the rest is history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory as a couple was spending four amazing months in the Philippines. It was so special sharing my culture with Matthew—trying delicious street food together, picking fresh fruits straight from the trees, enjoying incredible meals, and hiking to see a stunning waterfall. Every moment was filled with adventure, laughter, and love. That trip brought us even closer and gave us memories we’ll cherish forever.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we received $20,000, we’d love to start a small business—maybe a Filipino food truck since me and Matthew miss it so much! Of course, we’d first give 10% back to the Lord. We also hope to use some of it to travel— for us to visit Matthew’s dad and brother in Canada, and for us to attend my brother’s wedding in the Philippines. It would be such a blessing and a huge help in building our future together!
