Matt and I were friends in middle school. We reconnected 10 years later and have been in love ever since!

Matt and I found each other the weekend after he graduated college at our local bar. We talked all night (mainly because I didn’t want to leave him!) and planned our first date for the next night. We reminisced on our times in middle school and stayed at the restaurant for 3 hours just catching up. Since then, we have been by each other’s sides for over a year.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?As two New Yorkers, we love our baseball. Except Matt loves the Mets and I love the Yankees. One day we spontaneously decided to go to a Mets game that night. I wore one of his jerseys and somehow had the most fun i’ve ever had at a baseball game, even though it was the Mets. I got to see his giddy side, from singing along to every walk up song to telling me the details about every player. The night ended with surprise fireworks and that’s when I realized I want to do life with him.
