We had a very brief high school “relationship” in 1998, then moved on. We both had failed marriages when we got reconnected, through Facebook. We had no intentions of becoming a couple but it was inevitable! We had too many things in common! We moved in together pretty quickly and planned a wedding. Unfortunately, life happened and we can to cancel it because of finances. Then, God intervened. On July 18, 2010, we both knelt at an altar and dedicated our lives to God! We never looked back!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 2020, after Matt was hospitalized with COVID (and MANY trials that were meant to destroy us), we made a bucket list: to step foot in AT LEAST all of the 48 continental US states… we’ve done 3 big road trips now. And we have 3 of the 48 left to go to. Most of our favorite memories are on those trips! Also, serving in Mexico together, building homes for families in need. ❤️
What would you do with $20,000?Take a honeymoon! We had 6 kids when we married and no money! A honeymoon was out of the question! Maybe we could make ALL 50 states!!
