It all started in the local coffee shop of our little college town. We decided to meet for coffee and the moment I walked into the shop and was greeted by the ethereal light of Dae's presence, all the worries running through my college student mind melted away. As we bonded over fresh brewed lattes, we learned just how much we had shared in common. From her passion for nature conservation to her appreciation for numetal music, I knew right away that she is the person for me.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first time Dae introduced me to Sheetz Jalapeno Poppers and I showed her one of my favorite comfort shows, King of the Hill, little did we know how that would spark a cherished tradition. Now we always make time to enjoy our favorite show with our favorite snack together.
What would you do with $20,000?Dae would use a portion of the award to fund her education in Sustainable Development while also funding humanitarian aid. I would use a portion to build a glass working studio where I can teach youth about the craft and continue exploring my artistic passion. The remainder will allow us to save for a modest home in our dream location, somewhere in Washington that feels like a Bob Ross painting.
