Online! We matched on Facebook dating in the middle of the pandemic. I was so nervous, because she was so beautiful that I skipped over her. But I kept thinking about her profile and prayed about it and returned to shoot my shot. After talking for a while, she surprised me with a visit. We shared everything with each other good and bad and quickly fell in love. We were married within a year and have been married over four years now.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Two summers ago on a road trip, we broke down in the middle of the desert in August in Nevada! The heat, the repairs, getting towed and finding a hotel, the finances to make it all happen, the delayed time to get home and back to life was all so stressful. But in the middle of it, we had each other! We found peace and comfort in our relationship and had the best date night we’ve ever had, an impromptu date where we felt so young and alive! We gave it to God and knew everything would work out!
What would you do with $20,000?Easy! We would pay off debt and then take our dream honeymoon vacation that we had to put off. We did have a honeymoon at a local beach town, but our dream is to go to Santorini Greece and Israel for a week.
