Alyssa: My cousin originally introduced us when we ran into each other at a bar. I had recently moved to Montana to start a new chapter of my life after going through a difficult divorce. Taylor and I kept running into each other in town, or at volunteer opportunities, until we met again at an event called Ales for Trails. We later met up at a local bar for drinks, danced until 2am, and stayed up all night talking until the sun rose. As they say, the rest was history..
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Taylor: Our first trip abroad together was to Spain. On our second to last day we visited Park Guell, we were tired and spent a good chunk of that time being grumpy with each other but I loved that we just ended up laughing about it by the next day. It’s silly, but it’s one of my favorite memories of that trip and why that picture is the Lock Screen on my phone.
What would you do with $20,000?We recently bought a duplex together! This is an investment in our future and a way for us to continue to be able to travel while having a place to call home. It needs a lot of love and there are numerous projects, and this would help us tremendously get some of the necessities completed (new heating, windows, gutters, etc.)
