Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2016, we met on Whisper ( sorry to those who thought it was Facebook). Our conversation started when we shared our reluctantance to start senior year of high-school. We kept talking and learned of our shared interests and dreams. It was only two weeks until we met in person for our first date. After my parents dropped me off. We walked around the outdoor mall and sat in a café. There he told me he considered me his girlfriend and we shared our first kiss. We have been in love ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

In 2023 we got engaged. We just moved across the country and were settling in. There was a lantern festival so we bought tickets. The day of the festival we enjoyed lots of food and music. We decorated our lantern and watched the sunset. At sunset we released our lantern on the lake. Afterwards Mason bravely proposed in front of the crowd. I said yes of course. We celebrated with donuts from a food truck where we got to watch the donuts get flipped by an automatic arm. Truly a magical night.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000 we would be able to put a down payment on our first home. It is a dream of ours to have enough space for our love to grow. We often envision our future together and our upcoming wedding. We would also be able to afford to fly Mason's great grandpa out for our wedding.
