It all started in the late 1980s. Until we went our seperate ways on different journeys. Journeys that brought us back together 25 (give or take) years later. After kids and life and marriages to other humans. We started talking on line after a highschool reunion. 4 months later we had our first date, that I didn’t know was a date. On our second date, Mary shared that she was transitioning to be a woman, the person she always was. This July will mark 10 year anniversary of my proposal.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Well, it’s honestly got to be when I proposed to her on the beach in California. Or really truly our wedding, we walked eachother down the aisle in wedding gowns to a beautiful room full of loved ones. There is honestly so much about that night that was absolutely magic.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d go on a honeymoon just us. We’ve never traveled together for just us. (Except for camping locally) We’ve always traveled with friends, or kids or family. Or for her job at a medical conference. We’d take a proper vacation and maybe invite the family to come after a week of alone time.
