Funny story actually- we met on a Lesbian cruise with our former S.O.’s, 8 couples sat together for meals. We actually sat right next to each other…..I worked in scrubs so wore gowns to every dinner & she thought I was over the top…..everyone exchanged information at the end of the cruise and then we connected just a couple times on IM (yes I’m old) & we then split ways to deal w/ our respective break ups. Months later she emailed me and it was during those conversations that we fell in love!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We visited Hocking Hills in Ohio and stayed at a sweet little cabin. This was our first trip and we grilled food and sat on the porch swing and it was during those quiet swinging moments that we said “I love you!” We spent so much time just talking and enjoying each other and it was the first time that each of us felt seen in a relationship. The love was like an explosion 🫶🏽
What would you do with $20,000?We would likely finish our attic with the sensory room for our adopted boys who struggle with a history of trauma. Being able to finish that space and allow them a place to decompress would make some of those harder moments a bit easier because they would have a safe space to be able to get their big emotions out.
