Connect How did your love story begin?

We met online during COVID and decided to meet in person. Our first date ended early because it was freezing outside, but we both wanted to give it another shot. Our second date was almost three hours long just walking around a parking lot and talking. Mary then invited me to her birthday party at the beach the next week. Near the end of the party Mary reached over and held my hand. Later we both described that moment as this intense feeling of being home. We had found where we belonged

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went to stay at a campground a few years ago. The AC in our cabin was broken and the only other available option was a room in the lodge. The lodge looked like it was straight out of a horror movie set. No lights at night, in a field surrounded by trees, no other buildings, and no locks on the exterior doors. Mary was so sure someone would break in that she barricaded our door. One night I rolled over and Mary sat straight up and yelled "You moved!" We now use that line jokingly ALL the time!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money for two things. Being responsible, we would put a large portion towards our goal of becoming debt free. The remaining money we would like to use for a make-up honeymoon. We weren't able to have a honeymoon when we got married due to COVID and our financial situation at the time, so this would be an amazing opportunity to celebrate us and our marriage .
