It turns out we both opened each other’s Hinge profile at the exact same time. She said to herself, “He’s cute, but I’ll Match if he Likes me first.” Moments later, I did. So she did too. And just like that, “Meant to Be” became our mantra. A month of calls later, I flew to Ohio to meet her and her family, then she flew down to surprise me for my birthday, moved to Florida a few months later, and we’ve been laughing, loving, and thriving ever since!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our honeymoon cruise took us to Greece, Italy, and Türkiye, but our luggage took a different trip. We had nothing but the clothes on our backs and each other. Every time someone asked “Did you find your luggage yet?” we turned it into a laugh or joke. It wasn’t perfect, but it was us. And that’s what made it unforgettable!
What would you do with $20,000?This money would go toward starting our family through surrogacy. Marvin’s dreamed of being a dad since he was a kid with stuffed animals as “babies,” and Rachael has health issues that make her too high risk to carry. This gift would be the first brick in building the family we’ve always dreamed of!
