In 1987 when I was a counselor at a hotel in the Catskills and Bobby came to visit friends working there. I was leaving for my first year abroad but he didn’t give up and found me the next summer at the same place and begged for a date… cancelled on him three times but when I finally said yes, it was meant to be.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s not a favorite memory in a happy sense but it’s something that sticks with me every single day. My dad was dying and I was in the hospital in another state. My husband was taking care of the kids and I was with other family members at the hospital. I will never forget when I saw him come through the elevator doors and I nearly collapsed in his arms. He has always been my ‘home’ and we have always leaned on each other for love, comfort and honesty.
What would you do with $20,000?Donate it 100 percent to charities that are dear to both of us.
