We met at Charlotte airport! He worked there, and I was traveling through and rushing to a flight. We passed each other on the moving sidewalks, locked eyes, and the world faded away. He turned around and came after me! He had a cute text typed out on his phone, tapped me on the shoulder and showed me the screen. He walked me to my gate and we never stopped talking from that moment on.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many it’s too hard to pick! The way we met in the airport, the Jill Scott concert we went to the night we got married (we tell people she played our reception), our honeymoon to French Polynesia, the day we picked out our dog. Everyday is a memory when we are together.
What would you do with $20,000?We would kickstart our forever home project! We are recent empty nesters, and are currently thinking about our next phase of life. We want to find a place to build our new home. The money would help with land or with blueprints, or maybe projects on our home we have now to get it ready to sell.
