Mark moved up in October 1980 and started working with my brother. My brother said that we should meet and arranged a blind date for us at his house. I’m not sure it was love at first sight but we sure hit it off and we were engaged in three weeks and married in five months. Hasn’t always been easy but worth every minute because today we love spending more time together than we ever have in the past, and we always do things together. Marriage is not a 50-50 relationship it’s 90-10.

On our 25th anniversary, we decided to get married all over again this time eloping to Las Vegas. We had our three kids stand in for us and we had our close friends and family there with us. We all wore Tommy Bahama outfits and flip-flops. It was wonderful and we all had such a great weekend With friends and family. Had professional photos done, because we couldn’t even afford photos at our original wedding. It was pretty tight back then. 50th anniversary coming, Not sure what we wanna do!

Mark and I talked about it and we think we both would love to celebrate with our friends and family and use the $20,000 to have a really good party. Who knows we might walk down the aisle again. We really enjoy each other and all our friends and family. The kids and grandkids aren’t too bad either! (especially the grandkids) but having them all together and celebrating would be fantastic.
