We were long distance (KY and CO) our first year together and made the most of it until he moved to CO in May 2025
We would like to thank you for supporting Marissa & Aiden in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met online through a mutual friend at the time and would play video games together quite frequently. I got a massive crush on him when he said he would play Stardew Valley with me, but nothing really happened between us until he came to Colorado for the first time. I took him to Lookout Mountain and we spent the whole night together driving around and listening to music and talking. Pretty much a date but not like officially a date. That’s where we would both say it began.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory is the night we both said I love you. We were in my car listening to music and talking and I looked at him and started having a breakdown lowkey. I have had a lot of bad experiences with love and relationships so it was freaking me out how badly I wanted to tell him. Then at one point he was like “I can say it first if you want.” And that gave me the motivation to just say it because I wanted to do it first. It’s a very romantic and funny memory to me.
What would you do with $20,000?Well, my boyfriend is a huge Harry Potter nerd and has never been to Universal, so I would take us on a trip there. As for the rest of the money, invest some and throw the rest of it into savings so we can build our dream house together in the future!
