Marcus messaged me on Facebook after seeing my profile. I left him on read and never responded to him. I even tried to set him up with my friend a few months later. About a year later, I finally responded and we went on a date. One month later, we picked out my engagement ring. After knowing each other for 8 months, we were married. Now we have 4 beautiful kids and have a strong loving marriage going on 8 years now.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have many favorites, so it’s hard to choose one. One of my most favorite is how close we became during Covid. He was laid off from his job, and I was home with our 1 yr old, pregnant with our 2nd. We spent so much quality family time together. We took many walks, played lots of card games, and genuinely enjoyed each other and grew closer as a couple and a family during those few shut down months.
What would you do with $20,000?Realistically, if we were to win $20k, I’d put about $15k towards my husband getting a new car. He commutes over and hour to work each day for our family and still lets me drive the “good” car. With the remaining 5k, I’d love to take my 4 children to Disney world. We’ve been wanting to take them for a couple years now, but it just hasn’t worked out yet. I’d love to see their surprised little faces light up.
