From meeting in Rome to getting married in Delaware, we know our daily love and laughter can carry us through all life’s ups downs.
We would like to thank you for supporting Marc & Kristen in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Our love story began on a tram in Trastevere. We were both studying abroad from different schools and were heading back to our apartments after a night out with friends. Marc made a joke. Kristen laughed a little too hard. We dated for the rest of our time abroad, but we planned to let it end there rather than transition into a long-distance relationship back in the US…until Marc’s mom bought him a plane ticket to see Kristen for New Year’s. Once we reunited, our fates were sealed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together was a simple yet recurring one: snuggling up and binging different TV shows during lockdown. We graduated college in 2020 and ended up moving in together. So after a year and a half of long distance, getting to spend that much time together and bonding over a shared experience was bliss.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use some for a down-payment on our first home, some to pay down some debt, and hopefully have enough left to take a trip back to Rome before we start a family.
