How did your love story begin?

I was fresh off of a breakup and he had came home to Indy for the summer. My best friend drug me out of the house bc like any 15 year old girl, I was feeling sorry for myself. We met up with a boy she was dating, who just so happened to have a friend visiting from college. While I had no interest of any kind, he persisted. He asked for my number, and took my sunglasses as collateral that I wouldn’t stand him up. He still has that piece of paper that I wrote my phone number on in his wallet. ❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Military days were fun. We were freshly married at 19 and 21 and we were happy just to be together. Having our children and Watching them grow and become responsible young adults. Getting older and loving every single version of each other over the past 30 years.

What would you do with $20,000?

Without a doubt, we would use it to invest in real estate. We have always dreamed of doing this together, and still have notebooks from 25 years ago that lists our ‘plan’. That plan became a family and blue collar life. This money would make this possible for us as empty nesters. I can’t help but smile just thinking of how much fun we would have and the wonderful memories we would make.
